Lemos Farm Visit - Oct 2009

Added even more pictures. These are from our annual visit to Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay, CA. The kids enjoy it and we can also get our pumpkins for Halloween. It can get pretty packed there on the weekends but they have ample parking.

New Pics Posted Finally

Happy Thanksgiving! I have been pretty behind on posting pics and such. We've been very busy and also finally sold our condo in the city and are happily renting again at a place off the Embarcadero/Brannan. Anyway, still not up-to-date but here are 3 more picsets:

July 2009 Family Pics - mostly pics from a visit to Gilroy Gardens. I highly recommend Gilroy Gardens for toddlers over 36". Garreck absolutely loved it. The place can get very hot though in the summers!

Garreck's 3rd Birthday and SF Giants Game - we did not do a party or anything, but did take Garreck out to Superfranks in Pleasanton (pretty good and had great pepperoni pizza!).

I just noticed something has changed with the template or Firefox support so the colors look messed up (gray background). For now, please view the site in IE7 or 8. That's what I get for not building the site on my own from scratch!

Oakland Zoo and Traintown

Well we had both Aunt Sari and Grandma/Grandpa visit recently and had plenty of side trips and fun. To start, here are some pictures from the Oakland Zoo (and rides area) and Traintown (in Sonoma). We were also down in Redwood City at one of the public water park areas on a hot summer day. More pics to come soon!

Having Fun at the Beach

Heidi and I thought it would be fun to take the kids to the beach today since the weather was going to be in the 80s. After some brief research, I found a place called Heart's Desire Beach in the Tomales Bay State Park - it's located outside of Inverness, CA in Marin. It's actually on the bay but more ideal for kids since the water is warmer and there is limited wind.

We also ended up going to Limantour Beach, which *is* on the coast. The beach and sand here were very nice, but Garreck was a bit intimidated by the huge waves and surf - oh, and the "hot sand" :)
